As a father of four and a long-time Cornwall resident, I understand the struggles local people face—whether it’s the cost of living, housing issues, lack of year-round jobs, or the impact of failing infrastructure.

With over 20 years of leadership in hospitality and tourism, I’ve helped businesses thrive, created jobs, and improved customer experiences. But I’ve also seen firsthand how our councils fail to listen, waste taxpayers’ money, and neglect key issues. It’s time for a fresh approach—one that puts Newquay residents first.

My 4 Key Pledges to Newquay:
✅ Fix Parking Issues – We need fairer parking charges and better access for locals, not policies that punish residents while catering to tourists.

✅ Tackle Sewage & Water Quality – Our beaches are world-famous, yet sewage dumping continues to damage our environment and tourism industry. I will fight for accountability and real investment in our water infrastructure.

✅ Prioritise Local Housing – Newquay’s housing crisis is pushing local families out. We need to stop mass second-home developments and prioritise truly affordable homes for local people.

✅ Create More Long-Term Jobs – Newquay’s economy is too reliant on seasonal work. I will support year-round businesses, attract investment, and push for more sustainable employment opportunities for local people.
