Statement to voters

As someone who has called Wallasey home for nearly 20 years, I care deeply about our community and its future.

Full statement

I’m running to represent you with the Freedom Alliance because I believe we can address our local challenges together with fresh ideas and a dedicated focus on what matters most to us.

The cost of living is a significant concern for many of us. Prices are rising, and it’s becoming harder for families to make ends meet. I understand these struggles personally, and the Freedom Alliance is committed to implementing policies that will ease this burden and help our community thrive.

Our social care system needs improvement. Too many of our elderly and vulnerable neighbours aren’t getting the care they need. We must ensure that everyone in our community is supported and cared for. I will work tirelessly to secure the necessary reforms and funding to make this happen.

The NHS is under strain. Long waiting times and limited resources are common issues. I am dedicated to advocating for better funding and support, so we all receive timely and effective healthcare.

Regarding environmental policies, I believe we need a balanced approach that respects both our need for a cleaner environment and the practicalities of daily life. The Freedom Alliance will develop sensible strategies that protect our environment without causing unnecessary inconvenience for motorists.

I have immense respect for those who have served our community in the past, including Dame Angela Eagle. However, I believe it’s time for a new perspective and renewed energy in our local politics. The Freedom Alliance represents a fresh start, with a focus on practical solutions for our community.

Most importantly, the Freedom Alliance is about giving you, the people of Wallasey, your voice back. We are not here to tell you what you need, but to listen and implement what you want. Your concerns, ideas, and aspirations will guide our actions. Together, we can build a Wallasey that truly reflects the wishes and needs of its residents.

I am here to listen to you, work with you, and ensure that Wallasey remains a wonderful place to live for all of us. Let’s come together to build a better future for our community. I humbly ask for your support. Vote for me and the Freedom Alliance, and let’s make positive changes for Wallasey.

Thank you for your consideration.

Warm regards,

Ian
