Camden Gaza Ceasefire Campaign. Stop Genocide In Gaza. Allow humanitarian relief access to Gaza. Support human rights. Say No to War. Save lives in Gaza, West Bank and Jerusalem. Uphold International Law. Support international humanitarian law. Support UN, UNRWA, ICJ, ICC and global human rights organisations accusing and condemning Israel for committing forced starvation, ethnic cleansing, apartheid, war crimes and genocide against Palestinian civilians, mostly women and children. Free Palestine. Stop the arms trade with Israel. Apply sanctions to Israel if it does not comply with its international obligations. Wais has been campaigning for a ceasefire in Gaza across Camden’s Holborn and St Pancras constituency since October 2023, uniting residents who want an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza. Change Camden. Change your MP. Unite all Camden residents for the unity independent candidate by voting for Wais Islam. Work for Better Opportunities for ALL Holborn and St Pancras residents who are not happy with Keir Starmer for many reasons, not just over his stance on Palestine. Housing: build more council / social rented homes, affordable homes, rented homes, review leaseholders bills, homelessness. Support UK trade unions. Uphold civil liberties. Encourage recycling rate and ensure proper and timely waste disposal collection. Better schools, more investment in education, support for parents and pupils alike. More support for teachers and school staff. More investment in teaching maths, English and Science lessons in schools. Also encourage adult education and support for single and disabled parents. Health service improvements, cut NHS waiting list, increase GP surgery appointments. Demand more funding for Camden’s health services including hospitals and clinics, mental and dental health services. Crime: Cut crime including burglaries, better policing including community support, Youth provision, reduce child poverty, cost of living, inflation. Unemployment, training, more opportunities for teenagers of all ethnic backgrounds, equal opportunities for men and women, environment / pollution / HS2, safer streets and communities and cleaner streets, safe cycle lanes for all cyclists. LTN review, improve parking, safe highways for motorists and cyclists and easier access to roads for emergency services (ambulances, doctors, fire brigades, law enforcement). More green space / open space. Cleaner and safer parks. More investment in Camden parks. Greater investment in addressing anti-social behaviour. Campaign to Rejoin the European Union. We are in Europe. We should be part of the EU. Vote for Wais Islam, the only candidate advocating for rejoining the EU. Camden never voted for Brexit. Brexit has caused inflation, high interest rates, more expensive mortgages, food and fuel, energy poverty as well as economic and trade problems for the UK including high shipping and freight costs which are passed down to consumers. Greater cultural exchanges. Campaign to end the war in Ukraine, which is in Europe. Save lives. Campaign for more support for Palestinians and Ukrainians in the UK. Campaign against gender inequality, social injustice, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, environmental pollution, discrimination, institutional racism, Islamophobia and Antisemitism.
