My working life has been in and around the South of the city. I believe it's now time for a change. Our city is in crisis, and I hope to be the voice of my constituents. As an Independent I am free from any party politics. I have a 10 year background in mental health helping those who are vulnerable and needing support. I'm also a Journalist which I do as a hobby. As a former civil servant I can navigate my way around policies & funding. Others would describe me as caring, passionate and an excellent listener. In the past, in my capacity as Chair of government regeneration funding, LEARN. I was responsible for the delivery of £7.1m pounds of funding to the local voluntary sector. As a student at Nottingham Trent University for my postgraduate diploma in management studies, I was part of the team that wrote a business plan for Bulwell city golf club, for the benefit of Nottingham city council. I have a track record of delivering on the ground. As a mother of 16 year old triplets, I understand how hard the work/life balance can be. A VOTE for me, is a vote for everyone in Nottingham South to have a better life. Someone who understands what it's like to be making difficult choices, someone who understands the high cost of living, someone who understands when you pay more in taxes and get very little services back. Someone who understands the pressures of family life. Let's come together and put an end to elitism and an end to Labour who have caused havoc in our city.
