I was elected as a Borough councillor in 2019 for the ward of Longcross, Lyne & Chertsey South which is part of the new ward of Thorpe, Longcross & Ottershaw.

I have a wealth of business and local authority experience and keen to carry on representing the local community. Since May 2024 I have been part of the Runnymede Council Alliance who collectively manage the council. Our achievements include:

Reduction of Runnymede Borough Council debt by £30m
Production of a balanced budget
Additional protection for nature and its recovery
Reduction of Runnymede's Carbon footprint
Delivered first social housing for decades
Upgraded car parks
Employed a Social Inclusion Officer to assist those in financial need
Introduced the Big Green Week
Invested in Local Communities using Developer Contributions
Invested in NHS capacity for Runnymede
Work as a team with other councillors for the benefit of the community
Regularly communicate with all residents in our ward (Liberal Democrats)
Hold monthly surgeries for all to attend (Liberal Democrats)
