I am standing at this general election to send a message.

A message not only to Westminster and the last Government and its MPs but all the people of North Shropshire and beyond. We all have a voice. Every single person. In our democracy, our voice is important, no matter where we come from, where we went to school, where or what we were born with, or what our job is. But we do not make our voice heard often enough. Many of us do not vote because we think it makes no difference. Many of us fail to vote because we think we are being taken for granted. And when we do vote, we are usually not listened to. So, at this election, we should all vote to make our voices heard. We all know that our politicians focus more on their party than on the people that voted for them. Our politicians too often put their party politics before the matters that are most important to us. As such, our MPs take us for granted. This time, though, in 2024, let’s send a message the political parties cannot ignore. I might only be 18. I might not have much chance of becoming an MP or forming a government. But I can make a difference by showing others that we can all stand up and have our voices heard. We all know that the Labour party is likely to form the next government and that North Shropshire is likely to return a Liberal Democrat as MP. But you can make your voice heard, and heard loudly, by voting for me. As an independent, I advocate putting people’s needs before party political policy. For me, that includes better education for young people, more support for hardworking families, giving veterans their due for all they have done for us, and rewarding older people with a retirement at the age of 65. So vote for me to send a powerful message that you do care. So vote for me to let political parties know that they cannot take us for granted. So vote for me to let politicians know that it’s people that matter most and not their party political policies. Vote independent. Vote Cladingbowl in 2024.
