Statement to voters

I am a member of EDINBURGH PEOPLE a new political party for the People of Edinburgh by the People of Edinburgh.

Full statement

Five of us are standing in Edinburgh’s five constituencies. We are all members of EDINBURGH PEOPLE, and we are bound by its constitution. Rishi Sunak’s snap election means that we did not have time to register the party with the Electoral Commission in time so EDINBURGH PEOPLE will not appear on the ballot paper next to our names. So, please remember our names. As resident in Edinburgh I am acutely aware of the extent to which politicians are not representing the interests of their constituents. Many seem fed up voting for the lesser of two evils if that’s how you feel you’ll like our slogan: Do NOT elect Politicians AGAIN! Elect People!
