Mathew Carr’s Manifesto
Vote for Mathew Carr to become UK MP for the Cities of London and Westminster
This is a living document … in recent days, months and years, I’ve spoken to scores of people in the constituency and beyond. The world is now changing fast and will transform in the next five years.
I’m willing to tweak this document to better reflect what the people of London and Westminster want. Talk to me publicly and transparently at @CarrZee on X … and help me make a difference. Let’s improve the public debate and national, foreign policies.
The influential people of London & Westminster can help return power back to ordinary folk as we call for the end of wars. I’m pushing for what’s important to those voters — leading up to the July 4, 2024 vote…and beyond.
I’m keen to help the 99.9% of people whose voice has been eroded — who are fed up with deception & with paying too much for goods and services.
Social capitalism needs to deliver lower prices for the people; I will prevent overcharging … by better regulation of market competition, disinformation. Capitalism is good when managed well.
An economy that works for the people, that sets rules to promote affordable housing; that makes polluters pay for any damage caused to nature … is a good thing.
Those who call out wrongdoing need to be better protected by law. Banks, effectively middlemen, should be forced by law to lift savings interest paid to people as soon as the Bank of England increases rates.
Follow me and send feedback. Let’s do this.
