Statement to voters

I marched for women’s rights, demonstrated at Greenham, campaigned against sexist language… then relaxed.

Full statement

Thought women’s rights were won. We were wrong.

Some men now insist they’re women, just like us. So I am standing as a parliamentary candidate in Barrow and Furness for Party of Women. Why that party? Because it’s the one that tells the truth - that men cannot be women, no matter what they do, and women can never be men. We put it bluntly: no woman has a pen1s, no man has a vagina.

Telling children that they can change sex is another abuse of the truth. There is no such thing as ‘non-binary’.

Where I live there are many who agree but are scared to speak. Party of Women speak the truth out loud. I’ve been a teacher, worked in advertising and marketing. Now I write about persuasion and how people can be duped - but usually not forever.

I am campaigning with other women across the country who feel as I do. We are standing so that people can speak up unafraid, so that children learn the true facts of life, not some fantasy, and to make sure that all politicians acknowledge the truth. A woman is an adult human female and a man is an adult human male. No surgery or drugs can change that.
