Statement to voters
Every year in the UK, around 250,000 unborn babies are intentionally killed in the womb.

Since abortion was first legalized in 1967, we have tragically ended 10 million lives — a number equivalent to the entire population of London. The most recent figures show that abortions increased by 17% last year. None of the major political parties have set out any plans to address this grave injustice; some have even laid out clear plans to make it worse. Let me make this clear: until we start protecting babies in the womb, our country has no future.
This is why I am standing, or should I say, sitting only on this issue.
