A bit about me: I have lived in Bracknell most of my life and this ward for the last 14 years. I have been in care, and been a carer myself - most recently to my husband Ron, a proud veteran. I was raised in care after my mum was killed in a hit and run, after which I became a carer and set up a scheme to educate healthcare professionals about living with a stoma. From working with children and adults with autism, ADHD and learning disabilities to now caring for my own partner, I’ve got the experience to stand up for our area.

I’m determined to make a positive difference here, and that’s why I’m standing to be your local councillor. I’ve spoken to many people in our ward over the last few weeks, and I understand how much you value having safer streets. I will fight to make sure street lighting is working and unobstructed by trees, and will clamp down on fly tipping to ensure it is reported, checked and the culprits are fined. I am committed to making our ward a safer, more peaceful place for everyone, and I will make this a priority if I am elected.
