Saboor has lived in Gillingham for over 25 years, raising three sons, who all went to Napier Primary School, and running a local restaurant. As a local resident and business owner, he is passionate to see change in Gillingham, which is why he is standing for the Conservatives.

LABOUR IS FAILING GILLINGHAM AND THE COUNTRY...
PARKING CHARGES UP 185% The Labour run Medway Council have sent parking charges 185% whilst also ignoring calls to reduce the cos of the resident parking permits and scrapping free parking. These thoughtless anti-car price hikes are deestroying Gillingham High Street and impacting family budgets.
FREE SWIMMING SCRAPPED The Labour run Medway Council scrapped free swimming for the under 16s and the over 60s, whilst also increasing the cost of admission. This has sadly made swimming at Medway Park (Black Lion) and the Strand uunaffordable for many local families.
WINTER FUEL ALLOWANCE Labour's economy wrecking budget included scrapping the winter fuel allowance which has callously plunged pensioners into difficulty at a time of cold weather and rising bills.
PARKING PERMITS Saboor will renew calls to reduce the cost of resident parking permits and to restore the Conservative policy of free parking in the town centre.
FREE SWIMMING Saboor will challenge the Labour run Medway Council on restoring free swimming sessions for local families at Medway Park (Black Lion) and the Strand.
MEDWAY HOSPITAL Saboor has been a long term campaigner for a new hospital to serve residents of Gilligham. Saboor believes the local issues of the hosapital on the current site wiull be best served by a new hospital.
OPPOSING LABOUR GOVERNMENT By voting for Saboor you can send a message to Labour that we will not taken for granted on pensions, national insurance and immigration.
