Statement to voters

I believe in speaking out for positive change and speaking up when things aren’t right.

Full statement

It’s why I’m standing for Labour in May 2025. It’s why I organise campaigns for Labour and go out door-knocking most weekends. It’s why I was involved in the campaigns to try and save Camborne Sure Start and Cardrew Walk-in Centre, and as an organiser with Cornwall for Europe, to halt Brexit.

With others from Camborne, Redruth & Hayle Labour I campaigned intensely to get a Labour MP elected and I was delighted when we were successful. Perran Moon is doing a great job but he could be much more effective with a Labour Council to work with instead of the current shambolic and chaotic Conservative-led Council.
