2025 Statement (Vincent Square)
My name is Nick Lockett and moved to London over 30 years ago and live in Westminster with my Chinese wife and our dog Chewey.Full statement
My professional background was firstly in Finance and then in Law, firstly as a barrister and then as a solicitor-advocate, I run a firm of solicitors that is business orientated and a Trustee and Founder of a computer charity that helps underprivileged children to learn computer skills and having specialised in technology law for 30 years am a well-known AI expert.
I have been an educational adviser and understand the issues of neurodiversity, having family members on the spectrum.
I have been involved in many legal cases involving housing, homelessness, and violence against women and have also been a prosecutor for the CPS and I have prosecuted drug dealers and criminals.
I am a local resident in Westminster & I know what a great place this is to live and raise a family, but also how the area has been let down by the Labour-Conservative leads in Westminster Council and how homelessness, crime and drugs have exploded in Westminster in the last few years.
Like many Westminster residents, I have watched with increasing frustration and anger, how our neighbourhood has become overrun with crime & drug dealers dealing openly on street corners, drug users using drugs on our doorsteps and leaving needles in the park, the increased homelessness caused by a tsunami of illegal migrants taking up the homeless shelters and council accommodation to the detriment of the existing homeless and defaecating openly in our streets and parks.
I've also been following the PDHU proposals with alarm as although not affected myself, I have many friends affected by it and the poor standards of the Council's maintanance and repairs.2026 Statement (Pimlico South)
===========
My name is Dr Nick Lockett, and I’m a barrister, solicitor and AI technology expert. I’m committed to ensuring local voices are heard and believe in helping to build a community where people feel secure, respected and empowered. As many of you know I already have a great connection to Westminster and have already helped many residents to sort out their problems with maintenance and repairs. I have also worked hard to try to limit the hate marches, whether the Far Right or the Far Left or some extremist elements of the imported communities – I say some elements because I understand that it is the extremists that are the risk, not the moderate communities.
I believe in
Excellent Education
Fighting the hate marches, antisemitism, islamophobia,
Promote cohesion and integration
Avoid importing conflict
safeguard education
make public service inclusive
Celebrate what makes British culture open for all
Reform has championed chasing out the Far Right and the Far Left – as well as the extremist elements. The other parties will tell you that they will do this – but their record over the last 30 years show that they wont!Only Reform will get rid of the ideology – Net Stupid Zero and deal with the Pimlico Heating farce – we’ll stop the waste and failures - the £6M Marble Arch Mound and the £27M lost over the Geoffrey Osborne fiasco. Support for removal of the parks police.
The breakdown in our cultural cohesion, our safety has occurred throughout both successive conservative and labour governments, since at least the Blair era and there is only one party that will stop those failures – those two governments have not and will not face the root cause of it – the toxic mix of The Far Right, The rise of the Far Left – something that Labour seems unable to recognise for reasons we all understand - and certain extremist elements that we’ve imported – and I stress the extremist elements.Reform Councils have consistently eliminated waste so we have the lowest rises in council tax.
If we do not take drastic action, we all know the consequences. You’ve seen the failures of the other parties locally and nationally over 30 years. Only Reform has the backbone to take the necessary action.
