Our great country has never been so under threat since the Second World War, which is why I joined Reform as they represent an alternative vision to the managed decline of recent decades.

I have lived in Cullompton for the past 25 years with my wife and have witnessed many dramatic changes, not all for the benefit of the local community which is why I decided to put my name forward for this election, I know I’m only one person a million people said, what difference can I make. Well lets see, if we all get out and vote lets all make a difference together.

Although I have no political experience I do have real world experience having been a garden centre manager and buyer for 25 years and retrained as a bookkeeper and accountant which is where I finished my working life.

In my spare time I watch a lot of different sports from snooker to ice hockey. My wife and I are keen gardeners and enjoy visiting other gardens and National trust properties.

I fully support the construction of a new railway station for Cullompton and better motorway access including a new junction between our area and Exeter but can’t support solar farms on prime farming land. Instead they should be housed on warehouses and other buildings. We also need to investigate the use of the rivers that run through our towns to generate power which would be more reliable than wind or solar.

I would be very open to any suggestions on how we can rejuvenate Cullompton High Street especially if and when the relief road is built.
