I am a qualified gardener and love spending my time outdoors.

I want to be a councillor because I’m passionate about environmental issues and the wildlife crisis. Working at Belsay I developed my own utopia for beneficial pollinators: I researched native and non native plants to create a cottage garden feel, and used natural detergents like garlic spray and iron infused straw mulch. I used to work in youth and community work, with litter picks and gardening days for all. I’m also finishing a qualification in forest school as I believe the education of the outdoors for our youth of today will make a big difference for a better future!
