I am an administrator by profession and a historian by training. I am standing for the SDP in the Buckinghamshire elections because I believe that we are the only party capable and willing enough to fix Britain.

Local elections are a key part of our democracy, all politics is local as William Clouston is fond of saying, and he's right. What happens here in Totteridge & Bowerdean is repeated over and over again across the country.

High taxes, struggling public services and indifference. There are two Buckinghamshires, the one the council cares about and puts forward, and the one it doesn't care about, you can tell the difference between the two by the quality of the roads.

I want to fix this, pressure the council to fix our roads, clean up our waterways, look after it's tenants and more.

Vote SDP on May 1st for a hopeful future.
