To return the founding principles of the NHS from 1948 and extend these to social care, so that both health and social care become:

- for everyone, fully funded by taxes, and available when needed regardless of ability to pay.

- to include prescriptions, eye care, dental care, maternity care and social care/

To insist that Local Authorities carry out their duty of care to effectively provide those public services they are responsible for that are 'wider determinants of health'.

- and directly affect health and wellbeing if not effective and run by councils

- such as - housing, waste disposal, air pollution, transport, environment and access to public spaces.

As time is passing I have been elected as our candidate for Mayor.

WHY AM I STANDING?

There is no doubt in my mind that I am still here due to the NHS.

WE DON'T WANT PRIVATISATION AND PROFITS IN OUR NHS

WE WANT 100% OF OUR MONEY SPENT ON HEALTHCARE

The main political parties have rapidly run down the NHS. The DRI (Doncaster Royal Infirmary) after many promises will NOT have a new hospital until at least 2038!

IF REFORM HAS ANY POLITICAL POWER AFTER THE 2029 GENERAL ELECTION IT WILL QUICKLY INTRODUCE AN AMERICAN STYLE INSURANCE BASED SYSTEM WHICH HAS NEVER HELPED THEIR POOR.

We need at least £1750 for our candidate and booklet costs alone.
