Statement to voters
I’m a novelist, lecturer, and long-standing Labour party member.

I moved to this area 11 years ago, to help look after my grandchildren. Middleton Cheney is a beautiful village and if elected I would strive to represent all residents fairly, irrespective of political affiliation. My priority would be to listen to your views and be your representative on W Northants council. Communities in this area are isolated from one another by poor transport connections and over-crowded A roads. One of my ambitions is to secure better local bus services, cycle paths and footpaths. I’m also deeply concerned by the lack of SEND provision in West Northants, and if elected, would make that a priority. I currently live in Brackley, where I volunteer with Brackley Community Larder.
