Full statement
He supports conservation and animal welfare causes and volunteers with three local charities.
Stephen says: “I want to see Wiltshire providing the best possible start for children and young people, and helping people with their housing needs.
“First by providing every secondary school pupil on free school meals with a laptop. Second by setting up a Young Persons’ bus pass. And third by improving the Special Educational Needs and Disability provision and speeding up Wiltshire’s process for setting up Educational Health and Care Plans.”
Stephen is keen to see Wiltshire Council set up a landlord accreditation scheme and with a Private Tenants’ Charter, to support people in the private rented sector. He strongly supports the delivery of more affordable housing and a new generation of council homes, and would like to see tackling homelessness made a priority of the Council.
