Your voice matters, and I want to make sure it’s heard. That’s why I’ve decided to stand for Gloucestershire County Council: to listen to your ideas, work alongside you, and help make a real difference for everyone in our area.

For those who don’t know me, I live on the edge of Tetbury. I moved here after retiring to be closer to my two daughters in the Cotswolds. Since then, I’ve been deeply involved in our community—helping to set up the Tetbury Community Fridge, supporting Ukrainian refugees, championing environmental initiatives with Greening Tetbury, and serving as a school governor.

For far too long, the Conservatives have taken our area for granted. We’ve had a Conservative councillor for 50 years, but ask yourself what have we got to show for it?

We’re left with roads riddled with potholes and severely reduced public transport. You might ask yourself when they last knocked on your door outside of election time.

I believe we deserve better.

My three priorities in this election are:

1. Fixing our roads - our roads are in the worst condition they have ever been in. I will continue to fight for more road repairs.

2. Fighting for local NHS services - from GP provision to ambulance responses times, Tetbury's health services need improvement and I'll hold health bosses to account to get a better deal.

3. Cost of living support - many residents are feeling the pinch, I will continue to support residents and push the county council to do more to help people with the cost of living crisis.
