Like many, I’ve grown tired of party politics — of paying more and getting less. I believe it’s time our community came first.

That’s why I’m standing as an Independent candidate in the Dronfield and Unstone Division — to give residents the chance to put people before party on 1st May. Voting Independent means your voice isn’t influenced by political parties, unions, donors or pressure groups. It’s about what local people actually want and need.

I chose to stand after feeling disillusioned with national politics and frustrated that party lines often take priority over local views. With no Independent candidate running, I felt it was time someone stepped up to offer a genuine alternative.

I’m not a politician, and I’m not looking for a political career. I simply want to bring a people-first, common-sense approach to local decision-making and cut through the political squabbling at County Hall.

I’ve fully funded my own campaign — designing the flyers myself and relying on kind friends and family to help deliver them — because I truly believe our community deserves the chance to vote for someone who puts people before politics.

So if you want to put the people of Dronfield and Unstone Division first, vote Michael Dungworth Independent on 1st May.
