My working career was in Procurement Management for companies that supplied high-end, multi-million brands. During this time, my husband and I fostered children for Northumberland County for 7 years. I am married with two adult children. I am proud of their achievements and service to the NHS as registered nurses for the Northumbria Trust. I was born and raised in Blyth. After living in West Yorkshire in my early adult years, I returned to Northumberland 21 years ago because of the stunning coastline, beautiful landscapes, and, more importantly, the community spirit that Blyth offered, I live in the Kitty Brewster ward.

We have all had our quality of life impacted by the same two political party cycles, and in recent years, the decline has been on fast forward. Many of us struggle to get access to dentists, doctors, housing, and good road infrastructure, yet we pay more than ever before in taxes. It will not be a quick or easy process to fix what has been broken, but we, the people of Reform UK, are committed to working incessantly so we can stand up tall and be proud to be British Citizens. This hard work starts not just in Kitty Brewster and Bebside ward but in every community across the country.

I look forward to getting out and about in my ward in the next few days and coming weeks. I look forward to meeting with you and listening to any concerns and what you would like to see to make Kitty Brewster and Bebside ward a better place to live.
