My Story: A Life Built on Hard Work and Community Values**
I was raised in Gujranwala, Pakistan, in a tight-knit, business-oriented family of six siblings. My late father, Mian Muhammad Jamil, was not just a pharmacist but a visionary entrepreneur who founded Mian Silk Factory in 1975, instilling in me the values of hard work, resilience, and service. My mother—a woman of immense kindness and humility—taught me that true leadership means lifting others up.

Though I lost both my parents far too soon, their legacy drives me every day. My brothers now manage our family business, while our extended family spans Pakistan and the UK, giving me a deep understanding of multicultural communities and the power of unity.

Why I’m in Politics: To Fight for Doncaster’s Future
Politics, for me, has never been about power—it’s about people. From my high school days, I believed in leadership that serves, not rules. That’s why I joined the Workers Party of Britain, a movement that stands for justice, opportunity, and real change.

Doncaster doesn’t need more empty promises—it needs action. As your Mayor, I will:

✅ Revitalise Our Communities – By investing in youth sports, recreation centres, and healthy activities, we’ll tackle antisocial behaviour and bring people together.
✅ Build a World-Class Education Hub – I will push for an international-standard university right here in Doncaster, creating jobs, boosting our economy, and giving our youth the future they deserve.
✅ Champion Unity Over Division – Our mosques, churches, and community spaces must be bridges, not barriers. I’ll ensure Doncaster is a city where no one is left behind.
