I have lived locally for 9 years, after moving here from Morpeth in 2006. I am an Army veteran of the Royal Engineers, and had a successful career in Onshore/Offshore engineering and construction. As an active volunteer working in the local area , I am keen to put something back into our community. I believe we have been let down by the political establishment in recent years, democracy has been ignored, and our voices have not been heard. I want to change that by pushing for real common-sense policies that will improve everyday life here in Stakeford. If elected I will work hard to make a difference and focus on transparency. My priorities for Stakeford Ward will include, lowering Council Tax, improving local services, tackling crime & anti-social behaviour, support for local businesses, jobs and housing.
