Statement to voters
Hi, I’m Dean one of your Labour Candidates for the Desborough Ward of NNC and one of the St Giles Candidate for the Town Council Elections.

Some of you may already know me as a member of the town council since 2021 and the current Chairman. Others of you may have seen me in uniform as one of the scout leaders at St Giles. Over the last 4 years on the council I have worked to deliver the things that make a difference in peoples day to day lives in the town. I have been part of, and previously Chair of the events committee helping to deliver the 1940s day, gala night and the jubilee and Coronation events over the last few years, I have also been championing the various community groups as part of the grants advisory panel. As Chairman it has been my honour to lead the remembrance parade last November as well as Attending the Carnival and Town Charter events amongst others.
I have come to realise that in order to have a more meaningful impact on delivering for Desborough and achieving the investment that the town deserves that as well as being a town councillor it was time to step up and stand for the unitary authority as well. I’m not a career politician and work full time supporting schools, I believe in taking action to solve problems not standing around potholes for photo opportunities and if elected I will do my best to be the voice for the town at NNC and continue the work I have been doing at the Town council to get the best for the town and the surrounding villages.
