Leaving the RAF, Andrew returned to the area with his wife, and family. With a successful career in Information Technology, Cyber Security and Project Management, Andrew brings a wealth of expertise to the table.

Each February, anticipating the forthcoming Council Tax Bill, Andrew reflects on the poor state of our local services, hoping West Northamptonshire Council freeze council tax until services improve - a pipedream, once we uncover the real state of our local council finances, services, and wasteful spending, for example:

West Northamptonshire Council taxpayers spend a staggering £23.73m per annum (£65,000 per day) to cover WNC’s debt interest! Hard working Brackley residents have seen their council tax rise by approx. 25% over the last 5 years, and given the sheer scale of council debt, through years of financial mismanagement – “residents are set to endure further year on year increases until council finances are under control”.

Andrew believes effective communication, strategic planning, and a collaborative approach are key to solving the challenges faced by the Brackley community. Andrew’s ability to cultivate relationships with stakeholders at all levels will be invaluable in representing the interests of Brackley residents and ensuring their voices are heard.

Andrew is committed to making Brackley a safer, more connected, and forward-thinking community – He plans to offer free Information Technology and Cyber Security workshops for local businesses, institutions and Brackley residents. Andrew hopes to utilise his project management skills to ensure every penny of taxpayer’s money is spent wisely, appropriately, while scrutinising existing project spend, eliminating waste.

His leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence will drive positive change within the County Council and contribute to the well-being and prosperity of the local area.
