I grew up in Kettering and have been hugely inspired in the last year by our strong community and the hard work and dedication of Emily and the Kettering Green Party to reinvigorate our town.

After seeing the impact the team were making, I decided to get involved to be a part of the positive change we need in Kettering.

“Ben’s professional skills from working on projects of varying scale, including government projects, combined with managing finances means he knows how to make North Northamptonshire Council work for you and that they are always held accountable.”

My aim is to bring my expertise in procurement to help the council save money in this area, along with a number of other areas already identified by Emily, Dez and the existing councillors. We need as priority to making smart savings in obvious areas of overspend (Children’s services, Home to School Transport) and look to other council successes to create funding, such as Nottingham’s transport fund.

By doing this we can ensure funding goes back to where it needs to be: potholes, keeping waste collection free, keeping our streets maintained, and the key priorities of each area.
