Richard Bowles's policies
Statement to voters
I moved to Kettering from my native London over 20 years ago to live with my partner, Anne Lee, who many will already know as a highly respected local Labour Councillor.
Full statement
I have a range of interests and a great deal of real-life experience in industry and commerce at all levels. I am involved locally in voluntary work with rehabilitation for people of all ages and am also currently Chair of the Kettering and Wellingborough Co-operative Party. I am deeply aware of the many issues facing Kettering residents, but I have a constructive attitude and the drive to get things done. I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive and succeed, and that Kettering as a town deserves the same. My approach to problems is based on ‘how can we fix it?’, rather than ‘why do we put up with it?’ We are already enjoying a fresh start and positive approach nationally under a Labour government, and my aim is to ensure this is the same locally. I offer fairness, honesty, willingness, integrity and hard work.
Promoted by: Ian Cameron, on behalf of Richard Bowles, Labour Party candidate for the Pipers Hill ward on North Northamptonshire Council, all c/o Kettering Constituency Labour Party, The Yards, 12b Market Street, Kettering NN16 0AH
