Our communities are hardworking and resilient, but too often ignored by out-of-touch
politicians. For too long, our local government has been bogged down by inefficiency,
wasteful spending, and a lack of focus on what truly matters to ordinary
Northumberland people. As a family man and a proud member of this community, I’m
tired of seeing our needs sidelined while bureaucrats and career politicians put their
own interests first. I’ve seen potholes plague our roads, local services stretched thin,
and residents overtaxed without real results. It’s time for change.
My goal is simple: to make Northumberland a place where our families can thrive, our
businesses can grow, and our communities can feel safe and supported. If elected, I’ll
fight for lower taxes to ease the burden on households and small businesses. I hope to
achieve a council that works for you, not against you. That means slashing waste,
enhancing infrastructure, and supporting small businesses to thrive. I want to see a
Northumberland where families feel secure, communities are strong, and our
countryside is cherished. I never wanted to be a ‘politician’, but someone has to make a
stand.
This election on May 1st is a chance for change. I’m asking the people of Haltwhistle
and beyond to join me in sending a message that we’re ready for a fresh start.
