I’ve always cared about our community. I’ve run youth groups and supported families through my work with the YMCA, helping young people get a better start in life. I also spent over 30 years working with charities overseas, helping to improve education and support for ordinary people in poorer countries.

Today, I work as a handyman here in Northamptonshire. I meet local people every day, fix problems, and listen to what matters to them. I know what it means to work hard and get things done. I’ve already taken action locally. I pushed the council to deal with traffic fumes and I speak up at Council meetings on subjects like local investment and asylum hotels.
