Statement to voters

As your Aycliffe North and Middridge independent councillor in the upcoming Durham County elections.

Full statement

You may be suprised to also know, Newton Aycliffe parish council May 2025-2029 has a projected majority of independent councillors already in place which is great news! & I'm also happy to be one of them! Like other independent councillors, we are free to vote without the distractions of party politics, political "whips" or any other nonsense. Each independent will vote for what they believe, and for what we beleive is the best for Newton Aycliffe and Middridge Parish council and their ward. I'm also standing for Durham County Aycliffe North and Middridge, and would ask for your vote!
