Hi, I’m Tom – a passionate community advocate and proud County Durham resident.

I recently stood as a Labour candidate in the May 2025 local elections. While I wasn’t elected this time, I remain committed to driving positive change and working hard for our community.
I’ve always been driven by a desire to improve the lives of those around me. I believe local engagement is essential – from supporting neighbourhood projects to helping shape decisions that impact our daily lives. I’ll continue working to make County Durham a better place to live, work, and raise a family.
Professionally, I work as an Apprenticeship Development Officer for the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), helping young people access valuable career opportunities. I’m 30 years old, married, and a proud dad to a six-year-old daughter and a newborn son born in March 2025 – plus our lively miniature Jack Russell.
As an active Labour Party member, I remain dedicated to the values of fairness, opportunity, and community. I’m excited to stay involved, support local initiatives, and keep pushing for progress in our region.
