“I am ready to dig in and serve the local community if elected in May.
Full statement
I have lived in the Wilton area for my whole life and I want nothing but the best for our community but at the moment I just don’t feel like we are being listened to.
“I’ve heard complaints from some residents about classic local issues such as dog mess on the pavements, fly tipping, speeding, and littering and unfortunately Wiltshire Council are not pulling their weight.
“On top of this, I am a huge advocate of linking Wilton, Quidhampton and Netherhampton with a safe cycle/footpath and think this would hugely benefit our area.
“Sadly, you also have a Tory-led Wiltshire Council that is planning housing developers over our green spaces.
“We need to return to the basics. Protect green spaces, pick up dog mess, better services to stop littering and fly tipping and the facilities to tackle speeding.”
