This community is my home - it's where I live, work, and dedicate my time to helping others.
Eight years ago, I had to adjust to life with a disability, which gave me a deep understanding of the challenges many people in our area face. That experience led me to set up a local disability charity, which now supports thousands of people every year through one-to-one help, social prescribing, peer support, and welfare rights advice.
But I've seen first-hand how difficult it can be to get the council to listen and take action. That's why I'm standing for election - to be a strong voice for our community and fight for real change.
