I spent my working life in law enforcement — starting as an Officer with HM Customs
and Excise and finishing as a Senior Manager in the Serious Organised Crime Agency
(SOCA), interspersed with periods working for the United Nations and in Aviation
Intelligence.
Why I’m Standing
I’m standing for Reform UK because, like many, I believe Britain is broken. We’ve lost
control of our borders, and the resulting changes are transforming our country for the
worse.In addition, successive Conservative and Labour governments have failed us —
wasting billions on vanity projects like HS2, pointless foreign aid, and an extreme Net Zero
agenda that’s making us all poorer.
Local Priorities
In Earley, I will put local people first. My priorities include:
 Council Spending — I will push for a full review of statutory and discretionary
council spending to ensure value for money. Funds should go to real local needs, not
wasteful schemes like the nonsense at California Crossroads.
 Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour — I’ll work with police and agencies to help
reduce violence, especially against women and children. Many residents tell me they
no longer feel safe and worry about their school-age children. That must change.
 School Places — I’ll fight to ensure enough local school places for both SEND and
non-SEND pupils. Local families should come first.
 Balanced Education — I’ll press for a review of the curriculum in our schools to
ensure subjects like history and social science are taught in a fair and balanced way
— not through a political lens.
