I’ve always believed in getting stuck in and rolling up my sleeves for the community. I’ve built three small businesses and founded a local charity dedicated to building stronger community ties. As a real-life stories ambassador for Childline and the NSPCC, I’ve had the privilege of helping raise over £1.5 million to support vulnerable children, helping give a voice to those who aren’t always heard.

Along with two other Trustees, I founded NPT Pride and I am extremely proud of this achievement. I’ve worked with businesses and organisations right across the County Borough to bring the first ever Pride event to Neath Port Talbot, and it’s amazing
to see it grow year-on-year!

When I say I believe in Labour values, I mean it from the heart and I’ve lived them. I was raised by a single mum, I grew up on free school meals and EMA, and I earned my degree from the Labour founded Open University. I am proof that when we lift each other up, we all rise together.

And that’s what I want for Baglan. A community where no one is left behind. A place where progress means compassion, and decisions are made by people who truly understand what’s at stake.

I know that Labour is the only party that can deliver that locally. And I know that together, we can honour the legacy of those who’ve come before us by building something even stronger.
