Statement to voters

Colin Deere has lived in the Port Talbot area all of his life. A keen rugby player in his younger days, Colin is married with three children with two grandsons. He is well known as a fundraiser for many local charities, including walking along Hadrian's Wall as part of a team which raised over £10,000 to help children with autism and additional learning needs. He stood for the Aberafan Maesteg constituency at the last General Election, securing a big increase in Plaid Cymru's support to nearly 5,000 votes.
