Now more than ever, Amery needs an effective and courageous voice at East Hampshire District Council.

With many planning proposals underway, Alton faces the likelihood of massive changes to the character of the town and even more overloading of an infrastructure already on it’s knees.

In the past, numerous new estates have been built but these have not been matched by any meaningful improvement to public services. This is unacceptable - Alton deserves better.

Although affordable housing is something that should be encouraged, this must not be at the expense of the green fields that make Alton such a beautiful place to live.

As your District Councillor, I will bring an honest, common-sense approach to the problems Amery ward and Alton are facing: Road safety, care for the vulnerable & elderly, sensitive planning, improving recreational & sports opportunities and fighting for an increase of essential NHS services that we so badly need.

So I ask for your vote and the opportunity to serve Amery Ward.
