Matt has been an active member of the Luton Liberal Democrats for a number of years, having recently acted Membership Officer.

He was born in Stopsley, spending his early years growing up in the Stopsley Ward. Whilst he now lives just outside the ward in Round Green, his connections to the ward are strong: his children went to school in Stopsley, his church is in Stopsley and he is passionate about Stopsley and its residents.

Matt is a proud Lutonian, who believes every Lutonian deserves the opportunity to fulfil their potential. He wants to help create a better future for the whole of Luton. He is also an avid supporter of The Hatters, being a season ticket holder for over 50 years.

As part of the Luton Liberal Democrat Focus Team, Matt has spent time on the doorstep listening to local residents in Stopsley and a number of local wards, gaining an understanding of local issues both in Stopsley and its surrounding areas.

Whether it's fighting to protect our green spaces, standing up for parking issues or tackling road safety near schools - Matt is ready to act.
