Statement to voters

I've worked in Eastwood for over a decade and live here with my young family.

Full statement

Like many families in East Ren, I moved here because of the opportunities it offers for my two girls.

Eastwood is an amazing place to raise children because of our beautiful green spaces, thriving communities and excellent schools, but our area cannot take another five years of cuts to local budgets. That's why I'm standing as Labour's candidate in the Scottish Parliament election next year.

The first campaign I ran in Eastwood was a decade ago, to save the local 394 bus service, which you can still see serving our communities today. I have a proven record of delivering for these communities already, and want to do more as your MSP.
