Statement to voters

Kenneth Mackenzie is the Sovereignty candidate for Na h-Eileanan an Iar (Western Isles) in the Highlands & Islands electoral region.

Full statement

Kenneth is a 61-year-old father of two daughters in their twenties, and has worked as a labourer in Arnish, weaver of Harris tweed, firefighter at Stornoway Airport, and is currently a self-employer taxi driver.

He joined the SNP in 2002 after his second daughter was born with the belief they were the party to guide us to Independence, but left in 2020 after Nicola’s capitulation speech, then joined and subsequently left the Alba Party because of their position on freeports. Having lost all faith in the SNP he determined not to reward these gravy train devolutionists” with my vote. After joining Sovereignty, he accepted our invitation to stand as the party’s candidate in Na h-Eileanan an Iar against Alasdair Allan MSP. Having taken early retirement from Stornoway Airport, and making major lifestyle changes after recognising himself that he was at risk of diabetes, Kenneth is focus on fighting for his daughters’ future by fighting for Scotland’s future.

“No more GRR crap or the other stuff they put ahead of Independence…” Kenneth promises. “Enough is enough. It’s time to send a clear and unambiguous message to the SNP that the Yes movement that Scotland’s Independence is the highest priority if we are to survive this corrupt, colonising, theiving UK. We must put people in place who will fight for Scotland’s freedom and prepare the Scottish Parliament to assist Salvo with the decolonisation campaign in the UN, not those who will bend the knee to Westminster as the current devolutionist SNP party are doing.”

“Sovereignty are working with ISP and I4I candidates as party of Liberation Scotland, demonstrating the unity Scotland requires unlike the SNP who oppose any other independence parties.”
