I would not trade Bearsden for anywhere else in the world. I have called this town my home for 14 years and have loved every minute. The community & people are what makes this town. I got to meet a lot of people as a Scout leader for the Bearsden 24th and I have volunteered locally whenever time and circumstance permits.

I have walked every street in Bearsden South and spoken to as many of you as I could. It is important to me to meet everyone, how can I effectively represent people I have not met? I can often be found walking around Bearsden Cross and would encourage you to say ‘hello’ if you see me out and about.

I have faced many of the same problems you all face daily. A commute to Glasgow hampered by the disastrous Canniesburn Toll roundabout, the decrepit state of a lot of the pavements and roads, a blanket 20mph and pavement parking ban implemented by Holyrood with no local consideration and the impending LDP3 that will add yet more housing to our already strained services.

I am asking you for the opportunity to serve on the Council to add more Liberal voices.

There is a better way. The most important lesson I have learned in life is humility, working collaboratively, and applying common sense, we can make things work in Bearsden South again.
