I am excited to be running for the Clydebank & Milngavie constituency for the Scottish Liberal Democrats. For 14 years, I have called Bearsden my home; I would not live anywhere else. I have raised my family here and I am lucky enough to represent Bearsden South on the council.

Unfortunately, I have seen this area move backwards under the SNP. For too many people, it feels like things aren't working.

Household bills are soaring; taxes are going up, but services are reduced. People are struggling to see their GP and they're worried about the state of our schools. The fine people of Clydebank and Milngavie deserve better than this.

That's why I will use my platform to fight for a new health centre that will deliver first-rate healthcare for everyone. I will fight for support with the cost of living and for the funding needed to improve our schools and fix our roads.

I have only been involved in politics for a few years and I am standing as your candidate because I believe there is a better way. We, as elected representatives, should be working together to improve the lives of the people who have elected us. We should be setting the highest bar in behaviour and not squabbling over petty things that fail to benefit you, the constituents that elected us.

Clydebank and Milngavie deserves change with fairness at its heart. I hope you can place your trust in me to deliver that change by backing the Scottish Liberal Democrats on both ballot papers on May 7th.
