Statement to voters

Hello my name is Michael Gregori and I’m standing as your Scottish Liberal Democrat candidate because I believe our community deserves better than the tired politics we’ve been left with.

Full statement

For too long, the SNP and the Conservatives have let people down — neglecting local services, centralising decision-making, and failing to deliver the change Scotland needs.
Labour themselves has shown through their Westminster Party that they can’t be trusted by scandals and their flip flop antics on important policy.
The Liberal Democrats offer something different: a positive, practical vision for Kilmarnock and Irvine Valley. We will put fairness, opportunity, and community at the heart of everything we do. That means fighting for better healthcare close to home, supporting our schools and young people, tackling the climate crisis with real action, and ensuring local voices are heard in every decision that affects us.
I’m committed to being a strong, accessible representative who listens and acts. I will always put people before party politics, and I will work tirelessly to improve the lives of everyone in our constituency.
It’s time for fresh leadership. It’s time to move beyond SNP excuses and Tory neglect. It’s time for a fairer, greener, and more hopeful future with the Scottish Liberal Democrats.
