Statement to voters
My family has been local to Buckhaven, Methil and Wemyss Villages ward for generations: my Grandad was a miner here and my Gran still lives here; that generation valued democracy, economic justice, social fairness and national sovereignty - as do I.
Full statement
Sovereignty stands for Scottish independence from the UK and EU; the liberty of the individual; the value and the autonomy of the family; the sanctity of human life; and the health and wellbeing of the people of Scotland.
You may not agree with me on all of these. That's okay; that's the beauty of the democracy our ancestors fought for but, whoever you are, wherever you come from, and however you live your life, if you live in the ward, I'm standing for you. I'm well-known locally and you'll see me out and about during the campaign. Come and tell me your thoughts. Let me know what you want for Buckhaven, Methil and Wemyss Villages and for the ancient, bonny Kingdom of Fife.
