Statement to voters
I want to Keep it Local and Work together with Residents of Seales Local Villages, representing people not party politics.
Full statement
I have lived in Overseal for the past 10 years with my wife Karen. In that time, I
have embraced village life. I am a proud active member of Overseal Gala Team,
helping to host fabulous family fun filled events, such as Gala Day, Overload music festival and Firework Night inclusive to everyone to join in. l have come to value everything that makes our villages so special.
I am standing as I am so shocked at what I have seen at Overseal recently and I want to use my background in architecture and planning to make a difference, I live here, I see it and its time to step up, I bring experience in Planning and Environmental issues. I am passionate about our beautiful National Forest and Green spaces and am already working with Independent Councillor Amy Wheelton to highlight your concerns on planning enforcement issues in Overseal and surrounding villages.
Why Vote Graham Wood Independent:
• Representing people, not party politics
• Standing against inappropriate development, planning and enforcement issues.
• Protecting green spaces, in particular The National Forest, wildlife, and the
environment
• Tackling antisocial behaviour and local issues.
• Securing fair services for our villages.
• Working closely with Independent Councillor Amy Wheelton, forming a group to deal
with local issues and concerns.
• Keeping it Local, by talking to residents and giving feedback, liaising with local Parish Councils, to keep residents informed
