A Strong and United Team for Penyrheol

Following his landslide victory in the recent Senedd by-election, Lindsay Whittle asked me if I would be willing to stand for election in his place in Penyrheol.

Following Lindsay is a huge task but one I will do my best to fulfil.

The people of Penyrheol rejected the division of Reform and are very proud of their links with Ukraine.  Many people have switched to Plaid to stop Reform.

A bit about me:

Penyrheol — is a community that has shaped who I am. Born in the Caerphilly Miners’ Hospital I grew up in Tŷ Isaf. This taught me the value of a close-knit community and instilled a belief that supportive local networks can create real opportunity. I attended Hendredenny Park Primary and St. Cenydd Comprehensive.

My career has kept me firmly connected to our local community. I began work as a Countryside Ranger, gaining experience in environmental management and conservation. I now run my own business as a Tree Surgeon.

Since 2022, I’ve served as a Community Councillor, getting involved with events such as the annual Christmas celebrations as well as various environmental projects — leading efforts to maintain and enhance our green spaces.

My priorities for the ward will be:

1. Stopping the over development of housing,
2. Improving road safety (especially outside schools),
3. Tackling Anti Social Behaviour
4. Addressing the poor lighting in the railway underpass
5. Protecting our natural environment.
