Statement to voters
My family roots in Croydon go back to my grandmother’s generation, and although I only moved here seven years ago, the borough quickly became an important part of my social and working life.
Full statement
I both live and run my design practice here, and having lived across the UK and abroad, I’ve seen how much difference safe, green, welcoming neighbourhoods make to families and communities.
As an architectural and interior designer, I care deeply about creating environments that support wellbeing, confidence and a strong sense of belonging, especially for women and children. I enjoy countryside walks, National Trust outings, theatre, art, and supporting British craft and heritage. I’m a Ward Champion in Shirley North because I care about Croydon’s character and its future and want to help strengthen our local community while supporting a cleaner, safer and more vibrant town centre that residents can feel proud of.
