He has a background in grassroots activism and is heavily involved in Unite Community Humber. Jamie is standing to put people and public services before profit - and to bring honesty, compassion, and accountability into everything he does as the Green Party councillor for University Ward.

People before profit:
I will oppose cuts to vital public services and fight against privatisation. Decisions taken by our council should serve the people who live here, not developers, donors, or private interests.

Fight for better housing:
I will be your advocate for better housing, and fight on your behalf in the council chamber to make sure repairs are done quickly and properly, and to ensure your home is safe and secure.

Be an open, accountable voice:
I won’t just show my face when it’s time for re-election. I will be there for you year-round, and remain accessible and accountable to you, not party leaders in Westminster. The Green Party doesn’t forget who our residents are, and you are our sole focus.
