** I’m a trade union and tenancy union activist, a community councillor, and living in the working-class scheme of Muirhouse in social housing.

I’ve worked in hospitality, heritage, homelessness services and I’ve been self-employed. I know what it’s like to face insecurity, unaffordable rents, and the feeling that Holyrood doesn’t listen to people like us.

The SNP have run the Scottish Government for nearly two decades. The result?
Homelessness has risen (a record 10,480 children trapped in temporary housing);
An NHS pushed to the brink (with exploding waiting lists);
The creeping privatisation of our care system.

They don’t need more time. The other Parties have squandered every chance they have had across Edinburgh, Scotland, and Britain. They didn’t fail by accident - they failed because they serve the system. We need a change of system.

I am standing with the Communist Party to give Edinburgh and Lothians East a true socialist voice - one that refuses to manage capitalism and fights to end it.
